The Humus Management and Composting Seminar

We would love to invite you to participate in a seminar we are holding on Composting and Humus Management in July this year at Barraba, NSW. The CMC Consulting Group from Austria will be lecturing at these seminars. The group consists of Angela Luebke and her husband, Urs Hildebrandt, who is a world known compost consultant.

We will be holding the seminar from Monday 19th July to Saturday 24th July 2010 inclusive, ie 6 days.

The seminar will be held at the Playhouse Hotel, Queen Street, Barraba. Barraba is located an hour north of Tamworth on the Fossickers Way. If you require further directions please contact us.

Accommodation is available for attendees of this seminar.

The cost of this seminar will include:

  • Morning tea daily

  • Final dinner on last night (3 course dinner)

COURSE OUTLINE

HUMUS MANAGEMENT: Soil Theory (2 days)
Here you will acquire a good understanding of the transformation process from raw organic matter to microbial active sustainable humus (humus that can holistically feed the plant)

CONTROLLED MICROBIAL COMPOST (CMC) PROCESS: Compost Theory (4 days)
Here you will cover the theory of compost, interaction between compost and soil, compost analysis (nutrient testing) and proper compost application

Please bring your own samples of compost and soil for classroom testing. We can provide some if you are unable to bring your own.
